Maid fever in recent lives!

By this time I am used to the fact that people out here can not live without MAID...but recently one incident has proven it...

I remember in my childhood days (oopss I am grown up old -- looks like) the day when Maid has declared chutti or leave used to be funday - eating out - lunches or dinner at the same time cleaning and house keeping was there....But that was still easy...Mom taught us to contribute in household work always..So, from our point of view it used to be okay..or no tension task...
As we grow up and start handling house come to know the importance of MAID.....

Recently some old maid from Noida called up for help..She was in a need for work. Was not having any work/ job for few days. I thought she is a nice girl and needy so lets help her..Thinking this started spreading a word about her in friends circle.

And then, started getting calls for Maid. I never ever got such a good response to my work related adds or messages....So it was proven again "People out here cannot live without MAID".....Fact accepted...

But then follow ups happened and finally one fine day she arrived with whole baggage to join someone...i prayed to god - chalo kisi ko to fayda hua....Family was blessed with good, affordable Maid...

I Spent some own time thinking - hope she will make it up to expectations...and allll....But could not understand why people are so desperate about household labor....It's our own house..we all stay there and can do anything to run it????... not denying the fact that at times you need support and situations are like that...but still!

In long run what effect will this have on our kids???if they have 24*7 someone to serve them.....When they will grow up, be independent....Rather we alllllll?????

I really adore my grandparents for their self-disciplined and habits..In their 80s also they are so particular with their things...They do not need anyone to keep up!  We are running busy lives, no time to do cleaning, cooking, feeding our kids and talk to them...

Its a very small and silly part of life..but has big impact...I am sure you must be having some other views too....let me also toggle in :) :)
